almost done!!

new munny in the works

so i wasn't crazy about how the first munny came out. the paint work wasn't smooth enough and the fiber optics weren't lit enough to see in daylight.

i started a new one.

i think i'm dropping the turtle idea and making it an alien robot. the turtle idea was great but, it's like...i'll give you a metaphor: you know how there's a scene in a movie that's awesome but doesn't make the cut? the director still loves it, but it just isn't working in the context of the movie? well, i'm the director and my beloved scene that just isn't working is the turtle idea.

My first hand painted shirt (it’s a picture of the joker—heath ledger version)




































I made a 3d shadowbox fiberoptic lightup iron man for my boyfriend. Here is the prototype:







Here is the finished version. The lights actually light up around the whole thing, but they flicker pretty fast so I only got a shot of them partially lit up. The prototype was printed out and cut, the finished project was hand painted with enamel paint on glass.
